This is a Samsung r500 cell phone on the Cricket service. It goes out of signal in large buildings and the owners home.. when it does work it works well and combined with crickets unlimited plans it offers a lot of useful features (when it works) the phone is solid and seems to be well built. The red panels can be replaced with another color, but the owner prefers the standard red

The buttons on the Samsung R500 are easy to use, but the display is made for nearly blind users. I prefer to have the number I am dialing be a bit more private
The Samsung R500 outside display chooses a new color each time you close the phone..
	The Samsung R500 is a ~$180 phone.. when it works, it works well, but I would choose a different phone next time
